Cheers.   I need a few more minis including cavalry yet, and may add the torches to some of those, as I think they can look quite effective an tie the force together.

Ordered myself some Foundry wailing women and in time, plus I’m digging about in my tiny lead pile for anything that will make a decent marker or two…..(I’ve lost a pair of Boars which is really annoying me!).

In time I will be looking to make defences etc, but concentrating on the minis for now.

Putting together some bits for markers etc, and I bought the Foundry Germanic Women set….bloody awesome!

I can just imagine them egging on their menfolk with

“Come on my luvver!” & “You call THAT a wound?!” Lol

According to their Facebook page, Roman archer release is about three weeks away!

Also thanks to Vodkafan, I have the cavalry now so will be able to get everything built shortly!

Going to concentrate on painting the Germans for now though.  Let’s see if I can get another batch finished for tomorrow…

Welcome on board fella!

So, a little speed painting (for me anyway), and I painted a unit of Foederati today, that is, chaps that had been in the Roman army, and have some training plus they are are better armoured than most warriors.



Only two more groups of warriors and half a dozen javeliners to do and I can move onto supports.  I need to sort out more shields first however…..
