Well - looks like I was wrong!  :o

So, anyone got any ideas on tail-coated, small shako Saxons in 15mm?  :D
We think that the officers and artillery crews were in the new uniform, as were the Danish in 1848, were the officers quickly reverted back to re coats as they stood out and were targetted on the battlefield.

Latest masters, limber horse riders in the 1842 and 1848 uniforms and two Danish generals in kepi, also not shown are conversions on the Prussian masters to Hess Cassel troops - different badge on helmet and handle on sword.

Actually, I decided on 15mm British Crimean War infantry from Miniature Figurines.

I also finished up the 2 Norwegian musketeer battalions this week and I'll be hopping on the Swedish hussars (2 regiments) and Swedish Lif Lancers this weekend. I've got most of the artillery finished (no caissons though) and, since we have the exam session for the next 2 weeks - I might be able to finish off a few more Danish 'shako' battalions. This is going to be a big project and I decided to give the Swedish/Norwegian 'peacekeeping force' more 'punch'. So, the Swedish/Norwegian contingent has 6 guns, 12 infantry batts. (4 jaeger and 8 musketeer) and 6 cavalry regiments. The Danes have 26 guns (6 'shako' and 20 kepi), 44 batts. (12 'shako', 6 jaeger, 2 guard in bearskin, 24 'kepi') and 7 regts. of cavalry (6 dragoons and 1 hussar). The Germans will have about the same number of guns, batts. and cavalry regiments. I've got 6 batts. of German infantry finished but wanted to get the Swedish/Norwegian contingent out of the way first.

Once I get some more battalions and cavalry regiments finished, I'll start a thread on LAF and maybe on TMP.

I've also got the 1848 Hungarian Rebellion project up and running (also in 15mm) and might post pics of those minis as well (in a different thread). I'm currently working on the Serbian militia, then, it's on to the last National Guard batts. and the grenzers. I've got 6 Hungarian batts. done and 12 more in the pipeline.

My 1788/92 Polish-Russo-Swedish War (along with the Norwegians) project is progressing along as well. The Norwegian and Swedish armies have been finished for a few years and the Russians are almost completed. The Lithuanian/Polish infantry has been completed; I just need to get to the cavalry. The Turks are a long way down the road.

Hanoverian Hussars! Finally I can properly refight Oversø now! On another note Dave, do you plan on making Wurttemburgers since they served as a reserve at Ulderup?

You never cease to amaze Dave, the dedication it requires to research such an obscure conflict, even down to individual units that were involved in even a minor role in the conflict! Although the enthusiasts for this conflict are few, I'm sure we're also so gratious for you making a comprehensive range.

Cheers, the last part will be the Swedish/Norwegian peace keepers and also lots of civilians to go with the buildings.

Picked up last week, beautiful model, just need to cast the oars and rowlocks and the two guns.  I'll have to get some extra crew figures done.
