Small African Coastal (river) Fort Scratchbuild
« on: July 19, 2020, 05:24:15 PM »
An old Arab outpost, on the reever (that is, when I finish da reever).  Now home to the various bad guys on my table (slavers).

Pay no attention to the primitive rock base.

That was the old ways.  I have new method of cast rock faces that im perfecting for Sgt Guinness, and this base will be looking great soon.

Note:  My round foamboard technique on the turret.

I'm waiting for delivery of some cork tiles myself to I can get stuck into some NWF construction.

Thank you.  The texture came out nicely.

It is the texture carved from cork or foamcore/board?

Yet another reason to want to see board fully setup and with figures in play.  So, when might that be, sir?

Information is freedom! Please do share how you managed the round tower.

If I had to take a guess. the foam was treated with warm water and wrapped around some sort of cardboard tube? (A total guess!  :) )
