Just in from BLACK TREE in 19 days. A bunch of Early 100 Years War Medievals which I am going to paint up for a Robin Hood project. I can't say when I will get around to it though as I just like collecting. o_o

I might start a co-operative thread as there are so many options for RH out there. I'm going to use the Lord of the Rings rules.

Actually a nice subject. Many skirmish rulesets are useable for something like this.

I would prefer going the 'historical' route myself (Normans/Crusaders style), rather than 100YW, but there are so many visual interpretations out there (lately that 'wear a leather coat or a pulllover and you're fine' installment with the 'coloured' (is that the right expression?) brother Tuck...costumes are worse than at many LARPs I've seen  :-[ ).
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

I wanted to stay away from Kite shields and body Armour so selected the figures which would look ok visually. I might have to do some greenstuffing to the Helmets to get the nose bar looking right. I wanted the padded jerkin over chainmail with heater shield look.

I'm really stuck for a Guy of Gisborne figure.

About a week ago (the huge ones, I mentioned):

Couple of days ago the substituted fig from MM100:

And today (not the painted guy - he's just for size), allosaurus (Allie) and spinosaurus (Spike), Schleich 1:48 (not really minis, as they do not need paint):
