Maybe I will adapt the VC civilian encounter tables to use alongside FFoL....may be doable.

Damn these building signs look good though........

FFOL has civilian tables. Great looking game. The outdoor lighting makes everything pop.

FifteensAway. Is this meant to be ironic or are you genuinely having a go? Can't really tell.

Great looking game gents, the signage works really well.

We've played countless FFoL gunfights, some with civilians and some without depending on the scenario and we even use horseless wagons in our streets for cover and set dressing.  As the Baron mentions there is a section on civilians in the FFoL book that can be used 'as is' or added to if needed.

As to 15's posts, don't take too much notice, seems to be his usual format of  'comment, criticism, comment, plug.='  lol

On behalf of Flatpack, who went to an AWFUL lot of work so
that the rest of us could (finally) get a game, thank all of you
that posted POSITIVE comments. Much appreciated.

Some more images from the shootout in Mal Passo.

Doc Wilkerson overlooks the street before having his hat blown off.

The Commador and his men oversee the street after killing the sheriff.

Uh oh. Look out sheriff. Stay behind the box...

Not a civillian in sight!

Trouble in town.

All the best!

Jamie.

I will back up the rest of my crew here and add to their thanks to Flatpack and the efforts he went to in order to host this game.

Two pop up gazebos and countless other bits and pieces. All in order to have an outdoor game in poor British weather so that we could remain 'distanced' but still enjoy a good fight.

Seems some here have taken offense to my second (and maybe my first post).  I assure you, no offense was intended.  First post was after first seeing the thread and the very nice display - I just noticed a lack of civilians, something I'm over the top about including in my collection.  Second post was after coming back to view the nice town again and realized I'd completely missed the lack of horses.  I'd rather hoped the use of emoticons would have shown I was very much tongue-in-cheek in both instances.  And there was no intent to highjack the thread - just thought a link to my blog would highlight my passion for the Old West/Pony Wars period - a passion shared by the folks in the game on display.  Reason for delay in responding is that I spent the last couple of days working on prepping a bunch more figures - including the first of two wagon trains for my collection.  I have other threads here with links to the same blog so not my intent at all.  (And also prepping another 15 battalions for my unrelated AWI project.)  Pretty much all just priming figures these days while working towards getting back into the swing of painting.  So pretty busy.

My apologies if offense was taken but none was intended.  I wouldn't have revisited the thread a second time if I didn't admire the work.

And as to the lack of horses I noticed on my second visit, that just shows I wasn't nearly as observant as I should have been the first go round.

Hijacking was common in the old west, stagecoaches and trayns mostly, so here's another one...
Civvies work great in FFofL, some of the best laughs we've had is as they scatters like hens from a fox, and get in the way of the proper shootists.
F'rinstance, The Ringo Kid and Tuco had just broken out of jail, leaving the Sheriff sprawled dead in the street, his wife, Calamity Jean, runs up and throws herself, sobbing, on her husbands body. As the two baddies stand gloating she kneels up holding hubby's Walker Colt in both hands and drills 'em through the melon before they can clear leather!
How can this be, Tuco and Ringo are D12 blokes, Calam a D7? Answer...
only Fistful of Lead can do this!!!
