Age of Reason for 25mm SYW/AWI - if you don’t look after your flanks and rear you will get into trouble.
Fire & Fury Brigade & Regimental for ACW. Rebasing all my 25mm ACW for Regimental, use 15mm for Brigade.
Age of Eagles for 15mm Naps,  age of Honor for 15mm SYW.
Wargamers do it on a table.
YNWA - It is not a badge, it is a family crest

Blackpowder always worked fine for us. Sometimes with a few minor alterations, if consensus could be reached.

Since my club chose 28mm as the scale for BP I didn't play it anymore since the game then clogs up in table-wide lines and maneuverless dicerolling matches.

But played in a smaller scale or on a huge table it is still a fine game.

Black Powder is indeed a fine game, but after playing I always felt I’d played a game of Black Powder rather than a Napoleonic or ACW or Zulu war game. For Napoleonics, I like Lasalle for small battles and Boucher for big ones

Another vote for Maurice, I enjoy the simplicity of it, as well as the degree of customization from the advanced rules and national advantages. Though I am lucky I have the game as I managed to nab it for "cheap" from Ebay, paying over 60€ for a ruleset is a tough ask.

Depends on the size of the game. For big skirmish then Sharp Practice, for larger battles I’ve loved Fire and Fury and there are a few variations around that take it further than the ACW - I’m hoping to live long enough to use it for 28mm Spanish Succession :)
