Some summer tinkering

This is probably on the wrong board.

While waiting for paint to dry on main projects I got around to some tinkering that I had planned. First up was to answer the question, which works better, the Warlord WSS plastic infantry heads, or the Ebor heads?

I had bought a sprue of Warlord stuff on eBay and found the heads a bit odd. So I bought some Ebor heads. 2 really rushed paint jobs later (painted as GNW Saxons - no idea why!) the results are below. Of the 2, I prefer the Ebor. Any views?

The second was to try out fitting a Foundry Indian Mutiny figure with a 1842 musket that had made years ago. The idea was to create the 75th on their way to Delhi, as most of the 75th hadn’t been equipped with Enfields.  Looks pretty good to me, pictured next to one of the original Foundry figures. Just need to get a few more muskets cast.

Tinkering is such a distraction.

The head on the left is much better, not sure which rifle/musket is yours, but I like the slimmer one on the right, the other is a bit chunky, also the stock looks like it slopes the wrong way.
