Derelict
« on: August 02, 2020, 05:14:08 PM »
It's not a cult darling it's just some like minded fellows that meet up on a Wednesday evening to discuss local issues and world domination...yeh okay it's a cult.

This weekend's mini project finished early.

Ebay genestealers hiding in a draw fourteen originally down to nine due to breakage etc. Couple of hybrids knocked up during drying time.

Cheers all

Love it! Especially like the 'stealer with the Cthulhuesque head. Is that a head swap?
Waiter, my soup is giggling.

Eh up onebigriver I don't think so. I got them second hand but as far as I know it's just one of a number of the head options that come in the box.

New drone recruit for the astracorp
'Can chappie fire his rifle now daddy make the griblies go sleepy weepy?'

Quite like it if I do say so myself might justify an entire squads worth.
What do you think?

I dig the drone, the head makes more sense then a grinning skull.  lol
And I like the guy next to it. Is that model a conversion, or is it made with parts not from GW?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Commisarmoody sir.
Yes only the head is gw, tau. Seems to be a whole in the market for convincing alien races/heads. The body is a void viridian while arms and ion/gravity gun are from the excellent anvil industries.

Part of a special forces squad I be making, black armour obviously as it's cooler.

Nice, I figured the arms were anvil industry. But couldn't place the body.

Both of those are fantastic figures. The Tau looks like he means business, and the 'Taucron' looks so different with that head and weapon.

Taucron...cool...might be stepping on someone's iP there.

Yeh seem to have shortage of terminators for my not space hulk project so may even use the blue guy as a sarge and then give him four drones to back him up three assault rifles and a flamer. .

So many ideas so little follow through
Cheers for the comments :)

Drone squad terminator proxies complete
Why send in expensive zealot lunatics in irreplaceable antique armour when we have a warehouse full of these drones still in bubble wrap? ;)

Yep, they also don't feel fear or have a biological need to preserve themselves.
Sounds like a win to me.  lol

I am really liking those drones, so simple but amazingly effective!

Those drones are ace.  Are they just regular Necron Warriors with Tau heads and Imperial weapons?  I didn't realise how tall the Necrons are these days.

Genghis yep necron warrior/tau helmet/space marine hands and weapons and that's it.

Neither did I till I spent half an hour cutting and pinning one 45mm to the top of their heads, should have been obvious to me really looking at their rock power stances :) hell on the inner thighs :)

Cheers
