Charles Grant - books and figures.
« on: August 14, 2020, 08:51:08 PM »
I'm lucky enough to own quite a few figures that used to belong to Charles Grant. Recently I've been including some of these on my blog - including an Army Review of the Hinchliffe Persians plus figures used for the front cover of 'The Ancient Wargame' (1974) and that influenced the artwork in 'Ancient Battles for Wargamers', (1977).

Really cool!!!

I was give a rather large (about 800) grouping of 25mm Napoleonic minis by a guy who painted them while in medical school in the early 1970s.  Really enjoy these minis, there's just something about the old sculpts.

My first Ancient Miniatures book, it is sitting behind me on  the shelf- $10.00 USD 1974.  I'm glad you have preserved his legacy with his miniatures. Very cool.

That was very enjoyable!! Love the look of "old school" figures. I have thought about doing a project using older figures and your blog is a superb inspiration. :)

I found this book at the library when I was a kid. I kept taking it out.

I was too young to understand the rules, but loved looking at the pictures.
