The Davis enterprise, reports that the bomb was unusually accurate. managing to hit all six crew members in one blast.  12 dice rolled with 4x6 and 2x 5.

The LULAC medium machinegun crew tried to hit the aircraft without success.  If was bound to be a tough fight, with the defenders actually stronger than the attackers.

This turn we also had a fight at the Sacramento union, the take over of the Mather Field, and a few other properties are now under new management.

Here are some photos of a recent bank robbery game that we put at our local gaming hangout.  The scenario was that a force of communists (Stalinists, Maoists & the Baath party) allied with some local gangsters attempted to liberate currency from the Burgess National Bank to carry on the struggle against capitalism (at least that is what the commies said - of course the gangsters had their own motivation!).  The game began with the commies advancing through into the center of town and setting up a fire support position using their machine gun.  The gangsters advanced from a slightly different position and were able to defeat the bank guards and breach the bank while the communists were engaged by the police and a mob of angry depositers.  The end result was that the commies were almost completely wiped out while the gangsters got away with about $300.00.

Cool stuff.   I like the hospital model.  I didn't know plasticville made one.  It's got kind of deco look which goes well with this period.

Looks like you're using that ever-popular Institutional Green color for the floors.   For the uninitiated, this particularly awful shade of green found frequently in hospitals, insane asylums, and jails,  Look for the Tamiya "Sky" color.    You won't go wrong giving your models that dystopian institution vibe.

This last Friday we did a game consisting of a raid against a fortified communist (Stalinist & Maoist) supply dump by a force consisting of the Anti-Communist Ukrainian League and Silver Legion allies.  The commies were pretty badly outgunned but managed to make a game of it by utilizing the stone walls surrounding their compounding and by using our new "harangue" rule which allows a political officer or religious leader to target a nearby unit with a propaganda attack.  This doesn't cause casualties but if successful it causes the affected unit to make a morale check.  In this game the commissar was unable to affect the Ukrainian command group due to their lack of class consciousness and but he did manage to make them homesick for their homeland and actually caused them to fall back for a couple of turns.  Luckily for the Ukrainian forces the Silver Legion's tank breached the communist defenses and caused them to flee before the Ukrainian command left the table.  Photos below.
