The first shot of the game was the sniper picking off the leader of the Nationalist faction.
He didn't do much after that but is was a dramatic opening move.

At our last game club meeting we didn't have time to do an actual campaign game so we set up some posed shots using our figures and terrain.  The first set is a police raid on a moonshiners hideout in the mountains of Kentucky.

This set depicts an attack by Japanese SNLF against a mountain redoubt held by Chinese guerillas in the late 1930's.

We recently decided to add riverine combat to our ACW campaign.  Here are a few pics of a recently completed river patrol boat or pirate raider.

So we had another battle, this one of the Battle of Mather field.   Pictures to follow.
Basically the Artists colony forces moved in and thought  they were facing a small garrison force.  However the Swiss Guard defenders, had two mobile forces converging on that territory, only to overwhelm the initial attackers.
If the reporter can fix his technical problems, some pictures will follow.

Recently we had the largest battle of the campaign so far - The Battle of Mather Field which pitted the radical Artistes against the Swiss troops of New Helvetia.  This began as what initially seemed to be an overwhelming attack by the Artistes against a very weak Swiss garrison holding Mather Field.  Everything seemed to go well for the Artistes at first but their attack faltered against the well dug in Swiss and then the Artiste commanders legendary good luck failed him (I must have touched his dice) and he suffered a catastrophic series of cold dice rolls which completely stalled his offensive.  At about this time the first of two unanticipated Swiss relief columns appeared and slammed into the flank of the Artistes followed a couple of turns later by an even larger force on the other flank.  At this point the Artistes (who were already hard pressed) decided that discretion was the better part of valor and fled the field.  Photos below.
