Talking of tanks....Jamie just handed me the first of my Normandy armour...they are BRILLIANT! Really chuffed with these.

Once I get some crew painted up, I will set up some better pictures.

He's done a very nice job then, the Warlord Panther models are not bad out of the box, but not great. It's a compliment to ask if they are Rubicon. (IMHO)

I agree....he’s done a VERY nice job. He’s doing a Tiger 2 for me at the moment...winterised for the Ardennes. That one is Rubicon and yes, nice but very detailed models.

The Rubicon Konigstiger is a lovely model - i may have posted it before?

Cheers. Yup, different boundaries give it a little character but I did it mainly to tie up to a few different fences and walls I’ve made.

So, having done the garden, it’s time to get the Chateau painted...going to call it Chateau René (big Allo Allo fan) , my back story it being a restaurant as previously mentioned.

I will be making a small formal garden to go with it too, but not yet.

Today I cleaned up the resin, and washed it. Priming tomorrow and a start on the paint.

But to take it a little further, I ordered a few Artizan miniatures and a German staff car.....to include senior officers and some guards. I got Rene and Yvette too.

What’s driving me is we’ve started playing FFoL on line. If I can get these done, I can think of the odd scenario we could play about it. Anyway, a little early for that....but I would like to find the old warlord German Halt! Checkpoint set if anyone sees one.....ta.
