Since my long winded waffle on your thread. I've been but my money where my mouth is and gathering the bits and bob's required to finish my own railway and roads situation.
But on the bridge front. I've already done a little research.
It seems the best option is re scale.
The two options I'm most tempted with( although the second is looking most likely.)are these two.
I'd be tempted to add a pair of external foot paths to both.
The suspension bridge is just shy of £25 and requires building. It's a bit like 4Ground kit in that it's pre coloured.(red or an off black.) Only drawback is sooner or later the suspension would take a sausage fingered hit.
The box girder is just shy of £14. But comes premade and ready to abuse with a rattle can. Its around a foot long and 8.5cm wide and 8cm tall. I haven't any vehicles of the top of my head that wouldn't fit in side it. As the girders do narrow your access.( but could be tweaked.)

I like the plastic one...would need to see it against a few minis but as you say, may be tweakable.  I’ve seen a few about....but I need a river first, then I will decide, but as you say, especially for CoC, I would want side paths.

Being chatting to Paint & Glue chap....very helpful.   He has STL files for a number of trains and rolling stock including but not limited to this selection.  I am waiting on a price for the top engine and three of the box cars in the second picture.

That's a quite a nice and chunky little engine .When you do find out it's like to cost .Would it be possible to let me know as well( obviously not if its a mates rates situation.). As it's really nice from time to time to paint something I haven't made.
(That said I've a real Butterfly urge. To sculpt two Welsh men and a small dragon curled up a sleep .I think that'd work nicely.)

Unfortunately not mates rates so happy to share when he comes back to me Mark.

Edit:

So yesterday I finally finished painting my TBM dirt roads.....all 26feet of it.  Also in the pic the Warlord bridge....pretty good span on this.  Needs a river though!

Gamer Mac, you had better tread Caerphilly.
You don't want to upset the Welsh.

So finished up a few more support options for the Ardennes.  These were necessary as we are about to start Bloody Bucket.  I needed more Stg 44 armed Sturm and support in the way of an IG18.  Decided to add loose crew that can be used on other guns if needs be.  The junior leader was painted previously.

Cheers.  Realised as I was putting them away that I’d made seven Sturm......and completely forgot to paint one!  When you are a little ocd .....leaving it now isn’t an option!

Luckily I still have four Artizan riflemen to be painted so on with them now.

The support options I’m missing now are really pioneer options.  I fear I will be hitting a lot of obstacles in this campaign....

I’ve ordered myself a box of Warlord blitzkrieg pioneers and intend to use the metal parts on late war German minis,  winterising  them to give myself half a dozen or so appropriate pioneers.

I wish WLG did the metal Pioneer pieces as a separate pack, they are a really useful set. I tried to buy the metal pieces separately on a Nottingham store visit years ago and they wanted 20 quid just for the metal parts, so I bought the whole pack for about 9 quid more.

Yup, I nearly bought a set of the metal parts on eBay last week before realising someone had removed the backpacks.

I agree though, a separate set would make sense.
