Cheers fella!

Pretty straight forward.  If you have a spare mini or two still on the sprue, give it a whirl!

So in preparation for the start of gaming, I have painted the British platoon.  I need to do supports next.

I have realised how much more character metals have over plastic, and though I don’t see many Crusader ww2 kicking about, I really like these minis.  I will be putting a few Warlord minis into it though, hopefully they will fit in nicely.

Just taken delivery of some more Last Valley hedges and a few tree lines, so a chance to pop them on the table before finding a home for them!

They look very nice indeed. I've mixed the Warlord & Crusader minis for my Early War French with no real issues.

Thanks chaps!

Already started on the Vickers team and another PIAT team.  My Warlord bits are taking an age to arrive.....never mind.  I have a few bits up my sleeve....

Err yes.. don't we all, I spent this evening adding a grout and paint mix to some support bases, a platoon of Italians and a platoon of US GI. Lots of painting to do.

That's a fantastic collection of troops and scenery you put together. How do you store it all?

That’s a sore point mate!  Many an argument with the missus!    LOTS of RUB’s in the garage and the underside of one of the guest beds for the mats....

Cheers

Up early this am so productive few hours!  They paint a damn sight quicker than Jerry!

Some British support including a couple of junior nco’s.  Postman just popped the missing support section minis through my door too, so on with those I suppose!

Very nicely done and the Brits do paint up quickly 👍
You have achieved a very nice khaki, did you follow a “recipe”?

No real recipe....I simply use Vallejo English Uniform, Agrax Earthshade, highlight with the Vallejo again.....then a fine dry brush of Zandri dust.

Cheers

In other news, Jamie bought a few metres of Teddy Bear Fur.  He sprayed a bit brown and gave it me.  I just dry brushed it with a few greens and added a little meadow flowers.  I was going to cut up into two bits but I like this large field.  About 30 inches squared.
