No real recipe....I simply use Vallejo English Uniform, Agrax Earthshade, highlight with the Vallejo again.....then a fine dry brush of Zandri dust.

Thanks for the info 👍

Great stuff. I always get lazy and just do a standard platoon, then kick myself when I realise a section would be a great support option...

We were discussing that the other day....especially if you are a panzer grenadier section.....two lmg’s......lots to love!

Even for the Tommies....10 fire power for the tripod Vickers mmg, the section has 12 plus the junior leader and whatever he can affect or bring to bare...and arguably better odds at surviving longer.  And both options are on the same section of the support list.

I feel you have to give yourself options......

Still waiting on Warlord though.   I still have to paint up flame thrower team, 6 pounder AT gun, engineers, medic and observer team though they won’t be here for Saturday!  ;)

After that, I need a few support vehicles.  I have already bought / ordered a Humber Reconnaissance car, a pair of universal carriers and a priest.    Plus I have my tanks!

Me too!

In fact, I was sorting out some trees to take to Jamie’s for the game, and I shocked myself realising I must have about as much greenery as some small clubs! All courtesy of Last Valley over the years.

Bocage

Tree Lines & Copses

Trees

Hedgerows

Fields (not including ones I’ve converted for other projects)

No wonder the missus gets irate !  Think I’d better stop there.......

It's amazing how it builds up over the years. Loving this thread by the way.  :-* :-*

Well that explains why at every show he's always stood at an empty stand by lunchtime. lol

Yeah, though one time I worked out how much it would cost me to get everything I needed from him, and the numbers made me blanch. Looks like I will be making my own.

I used to think that, but years went by & I still hadn't made any of it.
Then I bought a few bits at a show. Now (?) at a show (What shows?)
I will pick up another bit or two. As Digits has demonstrated it does
build up.

Yup.

I had ordered some rubicon crews for the tank destroyers.  Problem with Rubicon, they insist on putting anatomically correct (?) heads which look minuscule!

Never fear, four heads from the British Airborne sprue, and they look ok to me!
