lol You can NEVER have too many guns!

No I quite fancy a 10.5cm artillery piece.   At only a point more than the IG.18 I think it may compliment it nicely!

Played the first map in the pint sized campaign, Bazooka Town on Saturday.

This campaign concerns the actions of the US 3rd Armored Division. The progress being made from the Remagan bridgehead by 28th March was so impressive that the First Army was directed towards Paderborn, with the 3rd Armored Division forming the spearhead for this advance.

Not too many pics as to be fair….I got my arse handed to me before I could get much on the table!

Jamie brought on the sizeable chunk of his force whilst I decided to hold back and make him come towards me.  However, I made a very fatal mistake in thinking I needed to push my jump off points up table into the woods.  In reality, what I did was expose them to a nicely concocted marching barrage of 81mm mortar fire that saw me paralysed pretty much as soon as it started.   He managed to accumulate a CoC dice before me so I couldn’t end it and losing about a dozen chaps, withdrew to lick wounds and hope to hold him on the next map.

Good win for Jamie….

Other maps will require a LOT of buildings and Jamie is doing most of those in mdf.   Thought I’d paint another of my TBM buildings to help out…

Oooh! that looks nice.
Who makes it?
Is that the roof it comes with?
how much does it cost?

Pretty much all my models are TBM.    I just wish they did a few more!   I still have the church and a couple of small buildings to paint…in fact I just popped the double damaged building on my paint tray.

The real shame is, years ago I picked up a rather nice cafe de Normandie by Grand Manner but sold it thinking I wouldn’t be doing 28mm……now they don’t stock it  :(

Wish I could get my hands on another.   There doesn’t seem to be much else available unless you want mdf…but not really my thing.   In the hands of someone who knows what they are doing, they can look stunning, but I prefer resin.

Nice job on that building.  I've been looking at TBM stuff.  Afraid to see what shipping would be to the States.... :o

Don’t know….but order enough and they may do you a deal?

Anyway, I’m not mad keen painting buildings, but I have come to realise that worse than painting a building, is painting a wrecked one! Lol

Anyway, it will do.   I will highlight the door when it dries and maybe add a touch of weathering powder when I can get outside.

Thank you chaps.   Next I might have a go at the church.    I’m leaning towards getting their Black Powder range church as it’s slightly smaller but looks more rustic / rural than the one I have.  None the less, choice will be good anyway.
