Fantastic Worlds character sheets - WIP (19/08)
« on: August 20, 2009, 03:30:21 AM »
Here is an example of the character sheets I'm working on right now for Rattrap's Fantastic Worlds.

It is partly based on the Carter Johnson and Tarks ones over in the Character Downloads section of Rattrap's Speakeasy, and partly based on wanting to have a complete convention-worthy all-in-one sheet for players.

I'm trying to decide what to throw in the bottom section.  If I cut down an Action or two, I might be able to also add in some other rules references.

My other thought was to make it fullscap (8 1/2" x 14"), and have a bunch more rules references at the bottom.
Or I can make it double-sided...

What do you think?

I think you can add the formulas for range combat in at the bottom and you should be great to go. With that amount of information, players should have most of what they need right in one place.

I like it.

You might want to include more than 2 rows for weapons.
Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.

I may have to change what I'm doing.  Last night as I was posting it to my blog I realised that Players get more than one character in some scenarios, like the one I'm most likely running.
Maybe I'll have one sheet like this, and then another that has two characters on it.

As for what's on, I might show less Actions, and then add the formulas for both close and ranged combat.

warrenss2, my blank version has three rows for weapons.  I only put two since this version of Ace only has the one blaster.

Thanks for the input...I'll have another version ready soon!
