See attached draft rules for Eastern troop types using the Twiight of Divine Right rules.

A scenario booklet covering Eastern battles will be published in the future to supplement the current 2 book of TYW scenarios and the one covering the ECW battles.

Aye, I just put up another Twilight of Divine Right AAR on Tabletop Stories.

The rules for Eastern troop types look very promising. And it's great to have interesting rules for light infantry in general now. Looking forward to the upcoming scenario book!

We are working on the 4th and 5th sceanrio books for Twilight of Divine right and also a 4th for Twilight of the Sun King which might also be of interest.

The Divine Right books will be one of scenarios from Western Europe after the TYW and before the War of the League of Augsburg. The other one will be battles in Eastern Europe from 1605 (Kircholm) to circa 1660 (Chudow/Polonka).

The Sun King book will be scenarios ftom the Great Northen War and also war against the Ottomans after 1683. So will also often feature 'Eastern' troops.

Sounds great, especially the early to mid 17th century book set in Eastern Europe appeals to me of course. I assume there'll be Gabor Bethlen's campaign(s) in there, some Ottoman stuff and so on. And I've had a really hard time finding anything on Bethlen's exploits so far (at least things I could turn into a wargames scenario).

Some of the guys 'round here are discussing doing small-scale SYW once the whole pandemic thing is over, so maybe that's an excuse to get Twilight of the Soldier Kings!
