Thanks should go to Michael Perry for that one. It’s from a pack of open handed standing bill / pike. I just added a cap to the helmet  :)

Oh..... no matter, they look amazing  :)

I've just checked, I had not noticed that there were a couple of 'squared' gambeson in that pack despite owning at least four of them  :?

I think these types of padded armours (squared etc) were coming more into fashion post 1500  ???

Great work Stuart, the chap with the poleaxe in particular is a very effective conversion. And the cloak works very nicely.

There is one such jack in the original Perry WOTR plastic set.

Super job there Stuart. They look decidedly... Scottish  :)
Love the addition of the facial fur to poor old Henry. That and an overall gingery tone - instant Scottish lord. Perfect  :-*

Playing around with the camera to get a better image and couldn’t  resist sharing the initial progress on the pike, only 42’000 to go for Flodden  lol

Super job Jimmy! I love what you're doing with the studded targes.

I did some Scots pike for WOTR an age ago... Kind of fanciful really. But all those Saltires are very decorative :)

(Apologies for rudely poking one of my pictures into your lovely thread ;))

Poke away its good to see how others have interpreted the subject. I like the inclusion of the gunners

Great looking figures. I can't wait to see a whole unit together. I was just thinking that you could probably push these guys as far as Pinkie.
