40K conversion bits?
« on: September 04, 2020, 11:56:39 PM »
First off, while I love the Warhammer 40K universe I am not a fan of the game itself. That said I think the range has a load of fantastic miniatures that are great for many other rules and games.
I am trying to compile a list of companies that make miniatures and conversion bits that are compatible with the Games Workshop products.
So far I have found the following 3:

Zing Industries: https://www.zinge.co.uk/collections/infantry

Puppets War: https://puppetswar.eu

Victoria Miniatures: https://victoriaminiatures.com/?utm_source=spikeybits&utm_medium=all,+video,+site,+FB,+IG

Any other suggestions/recommendations you all have?

Wargames Atlantic
Pig Iron
Dragonforge
Brother Vinny
Kromlech

To name but a few, off the top of my head...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

And don’t forget, some of my favourite bits come from the likes of Warlord games and Victrix etc.....plastic sprues of WW2 are very useful sources.  I used a lot of commando backpacks from warlord on my imperial guard.

There's loads of compatible parts on Shapeways too. Usually the upper end of the price bracket but great for niche stuff.

Anyone know who bought the maxmini range? They said at one point they were in discussions with a UK company.
