I've just started a new RPG campaign based on Plebs, the British sitcom about ancient Rome.  I've posted a summary of our first session on my blog:

Checked out the Blog and the terrain looked superb.  Can you tell me the manufacturer of the Roman ships and  buildings.  I spotted some from Warbases but there were some I didn't recognise.

Thanks.

Cracking Idea.
Did you consider Chelmsford 123?
As it's a little more varried in Characters and storyline.

Actually saw pics of this from Cigar Box Battle Mats FB page before the LAF post came through, had me intrigued then.

The whole thing is excellent, buildings, figures, plot, everything :)

Thanks for all your kind comments!

SJWi, most of the buildings are either from Warbases or Sarissa with a couple from Game Craft Miniatures.  The Tefnut, the large merchant ship, is mostly scratch built using as a base a free paper model I downloaded from the internet (of course, I can't find the site now), the smaller merchant ship is from Sarissa and the galley is a cardboard model of a Greek trireme from the Russian company Umbum.

Tin Shed Gamer, I've only ever seen some clips from Chelmsford 123 but I'll have to investigate further, it may be a good basis for a sequel adventure!

Great thread! Excellent terrain and very funny story. Would love to try out something like this. Would probably use Pulp Alley.
Sailors have more fun!
