Beautiful work.
I do recall a demo. game at a show, that was based on the final scene
of John Ford's film Stagecoach. 
Everything was done in greyscale,
the wheels on the (Timpo/Britains ?) stagecoach revolved BACKWARDS,
just like on the film.
They also had a selection of cassette tapes (that dates it) each had a
different length of silence, followed by a bugle call (to show the arrival
of the US Cav. & end of that game.)

More miniatures should be done in greyscale, particularly samurai, Old West and Pulp themes.
