Mike Bravo- Dead?
« on: September 15, 2020, 10:19:57 AM »
Morning all,

Is the company dead?
GM (me) - you spot a 70 year old grey hair little old lady.. Clutching large leather bound book and a uzi.

“Tom”- “She has a Book!!!”

“Danny”- “I put a bust of M4 fire between her eyes” rolls…

Phil- “if he misses I put a shotgun slug in her face”

That’s the Delta green baby"

I would unfortunately say yes, it’s a shame as their initial releases were good.

Yes, it is a huge pity. I've tried on countless occasions to get in touch with Dan. We used to be there show stockist and we even designed an extensive set of terrain for gaming 'The Wild Geese' with Mike Bravo miniatures, which was launched just about the time that Dan stopped supplying figures!

I've offered to help him out with mail order or to buy the range off him, but have not made any progress at all.

What was odd that for a brief period the company came back. Citing that they'd fulfill all outstanding orders, or refund customers. Then nothing.

Its odd how companies can get away with taking customer's money like this then drop off the face of the Earth with no repercussions. And in this case it feels like the owner's gone quiet so as to avoid having to deal with the issues. Rather than refunding everyone who's been waiting on models for years now.

Yeah really sad all in all. Because I would have loved to have some of the IDF and the winter of 79 range figs.  :(
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

I pine especially for the African Paras in caps  :'(
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt
