"Miniature naval game “Admiral”"

Was browsing the 4Ground website and saw in the New Releases section some WW2 mdf ships (1:1850 Scale).

Apparently these are for a game called 'Admiral'. Anyone know anything about it? Currently 4Ground only have RN ships, but wonder if they'll be expanding the range?

Interesting. Some companies have pushed the design envelope to show just what can be achieved with MDF (Knight of Dice springs to mind) while others have chosen to demonstrate exactly what can’t.

Usually I’m against odd, proprietary scales but in this case it appears sensible. I can’t ever imagine someone holding on of those up against a 1/1200 or 1/2400 model and saying ‘that looks good’.

Still they might be on to something as a comfort to parents of small, cosseted, children and household pets. There’s bound to be a market out there for pre-chewed wooden rulers.
