A unit that has taken over 20 years to complete.



Back in the mists of time I bought a couple of sample packs of the Freedom or death figures from Spyros Koumoussis. I quite liked their honest simplicity and I painted a few regiments of them but for some reason never finished the Evzones.
After Spyros's untimely death the supply of figures dried up but I managed to pick up a few more packs one year at the Gateshead wargames show. To put this into perspective I took my son who was about 3. He is now 22.
Anyway at long last they are finished!

Great choice of subject! The gloss goes well with the charming sculpting style. What paint did you use for the greenish khaki?
