A nice report Giles. As you say, a bit of a foregone conclusion, but interesting to see how it played out.

Nice clean report, and an interesting development with the escape rather than death of one protagonist.

Will you be doing a what if kind of variant with that alteration, or continue with each battle based on the historical outcomes, as standalone refites, rather than a changing narrative/campaign?

Thanks Chaps for your kind comments

To Keep things simple we are just playing out each battle - this is not a campaign

A truly inspiring table and report.  I hope to get an actual physical game next month.

+1!  :-* Fab layout and even if it was a bit of forgone conclusion it's always interesting to play out historical scenarios  8)

Despite a weekend refighting Towton with 1500 figures we have now cleared the decks ready fo our regular Monday night game  featuring the next battle in the series Mortimer's Cross. Details of the game are now published on the blog

The full report on Towton is currently being written and will be published in sequence with the other battles - however if you want to see some epic shots of the game head here to Alastair's blog -  https://wargaminggallimaufry.blogspot.com/2021/05/towton-billhooks-extravaganza.html

I have a bad case of prescient nostalgia. The future's not what it used to be.
