Crusader Miniatures WORT Pikes
« on: September 23, 2020, 09:55:01 AM »
I found these miniatures at my local hobby shop, after some searching I found out that they were Crusader Miniatures WORT pikemen. They were fun to paint and I enjoyed everything but the spears, which I feel are going to either stab me in the eye when I look at the miniature or are going to loose all their paint.

They were speed/batch painted.
  • for the amour I used a mixture of iridescent medium mixed with black. then dry brushed the iridescent medium over that. I like how this comes out, and it is pretty durable (the iridescent medium makes the paint dry a lot harder than normal)
  • The clothing was done using a limited palette of colours, this was done at the same time as some other project I have

Personal Complain: I don't really like pikemen, but it seems that I finish miniatures with pikes before other ones.

I am not the best at taking photos and the time wasn't ideal either.

Nice work  8)

Have  you compared them with the Perry Wars of the Roses range? They go together really well.

Yeah, they do. Here is a photo I just took comparing size:
