Death Guard Kill team kitbash (ton of pics)
« on: October 01, 2020, 11:23:14 AM »
Hello All, its been quite a few years since I posted having a toddler doesn't help with Hobby time but since lockdown and working from home I've managed to squeeze in some painting whilst half listening to zoom meetings.
I've built a Death Guard kill Team as me and a friend starting having a weekly battle to get back into wargaming before lockdown locked us down again.
These guys are mostly built using nearly 30 years worth of bits and a ton of Green stuff I was trying to build the squad without spending any money and I think the only thing I spent money on was the leach guy and some Ramshackles games gasmask heads.

I think I need to add some more poxwalkers next to push the points to 125, let me know what you think

Here's the whole gang

This is the leader, built using old space crusade chaos marine legs, realm of chaos backpack, rouge trader bolter (I think) ramshackle games head, GW zombie bits, an ogre kingdoms belly plate and under all the green stuff is a black ork torso

Next up is the plague spewer which is essentially a pus flame thrower from what I understand of the blurb:

I think theres a rogue trader terminator flame thrower in there, some plastic space marine legs and ogre kindom belly plates for shoulder pads

Blight Launcher - essentially a grenade launcher

Thanks very much! Great fun to paint too as it was a case of just slapping on layer after layer after layer of grime

Really great figures and some brilliantly grotesque painting. The pinky-purple with the yellow is vile (in a good way!).

Cheers everyone! I really wanted to capture the fact they these marines were just rancid meat poured into ancient decaying armour. Not to keen on Death Guard that aren't dropping to pieces, they need to be held together by the love of Nurgle and some scraps of rust.
