Mark Sims has launched a new range of Crusader Miniatures WW2 Romanian Infantry.

You can see them here:

Cheers
Nick

Nick, those look very interesting. However, I already have a bunch of WW2 Romanians from Tsuba Minis, so I am wondering how these would compare side-by-side....any chance of a comparison pic???

I've not got any of those figures, don't want to be rude to the manufacturer but I've never heard of them. So no chance of a picture  lol

Do you not have any Crusader Miniatures? These Romanians are standard Crusader Mins size.

Given the sculptor was Kosta Herstanidis, I’d say the Tsuba Miniatures would match the Crusader ones for height but the Crusader chaps will be a bit heftier due to differing sculpting styles.

They do look good and Crusader miniatures are always a pleasure to paint being nice, clean sculpts.

I do wish they would put some early war helmets and budenovkas on their great coated Russians so one could do the Winter War. Decent Winter War Russians are an inexplicable gap in the market.

Hi Nick, As Carlos said, the Romanians I am talking about are indeed the Tsuba Minis ones....they are sold by Empress

https://www.empressminiatures.com/romania-28-c.asp

I will dig out some other Crusader Minis and try and compare.

Of course, if anyone else out there has both the Tsuba (Empress) and the Crusader Romanians, a comparison pic would be welcomed! ;)

I only have the Tsuba heavy machine gun that I bought to convert to a Czech crewed version so alas not that useful as a comparison shot but the Eureka Russians by the same sculptor size up pretty well with Crusader’s WW2 Germans.

Thanks Carlos. The Eureka Russians are also on my list...and perhaps some of the Eureka new Japanese! :)
