Swapping horses
« on: October 14, 2020, 10:07:07 AM »
Ciao,
I would like to buy Conquest Games Knights, but I need some barded horsee too, in their box they are all "naked".
Where can I find some 28mm suitable plastic horses?
I thought Fireforge at first, but are ther compatible? Will I find some spure of the FF horses only?
I don't like FF knights, althought I have the infantry and is nice.

I'll go for some others manufacturers metal knights if no alternative.
 ;D

If I'm correct in my thinking you're after caparisoned horses and not barded ie metal/hardened leather protection?

Fireforge caparisoned horses are plastic and are available here in boxed sets:

A comparison picture found on the net:

Sure, but  will take some times  lol I orderd them but OOS at the moment, shipping, put in production lines, painting... new year?
The main question is, which army should I choose between:
- Campaldino Ghibellines (2021 is 700 year from Dante Alighieri's death who fought at Campaldino, although he was guelph :D)
- Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor a nice set up of heralrdy and units.
- Baldwin IV of Jerusalem... as above.

I got pieces only for 1 of them... though decision  :o
