What to do when you have nothing but rain for two days, paint and finish your 15mm Prussians of course. Primed on Friday, two 18 man line battalions, 12 Skirmishers, two 15 man Landwehr battalions and 9 figures to finish the light blue Landwehr battalion (had to match the colour). All told 87 figures. The officer is just a rebase. Just waiting for basing to dry, and couple of flags to go on. I also forgot 2 more Skirmish bases (8 Figures) that were drying on the window sill.
If it isn't enjoyable, it isn't gaming!

Busy day yesterday, finishing my 15mm Prussian Cavalry. Various manufacturers. The Dragoons, Hussars and Ulhans only needed the facings done and varnish. The Landwehr Cavalry are old figures re based. Also finished a French Light Battalion with Skirmish bases, another two Spanish Skirmish Bases from odds (got 20 now for a Michael Hopper scenario that needs a lot more) and a lovely Sapper that I found in with my Fantassin Portuguese stash (next on the bench BTW), although I have painted him up as British. All based for Shako II

This week, I have mostly been painting 1815 red! One Battalion of KGL, Three Skirmish stands and the three Battalions that finish off Picton's 5th Division- 1st, 32nd and 44th Battalions of Foot. I already have completed 28th, 42nd, 79th, 92nd and 95th earlier in the year! about 3 or 4 line battalions in the stash to finish off this stage of the project, then onto Hanover! 15mm Figures, based for Shako II rules

Three Light Infantry for Waterloo. 51st, 52nd & 71st. The Battalions were an ebay purchase that needed the facings, the chequerboard for the 71st and some touching up done. They are mostly line infantry but it won't notice on the table. The Skirmish stands were from the stash and some already painted. 15mm based for Shako II.

Also the last KGL unit and two more Hanoverian L/W Battalions on the bench!

71st LI

52nd and  51st

Last painted units off the bench to end the year. Some Gunmen & Women to fight over Cowtown next year.  and 13the Regt for the Duchy of Warsaw, annoyingly painted the wrong unit as the 13th's Grenadiers wore the Czapka (Shako) and not the Bearskin, which I have now found out the were issued the Bearskin in 1813 (so might keep them as is). Will rectify with the correct head gear over the next couple of days. Also need to repaint white cords on the Bearskin when I transfer them to another unit!

Painting summary for the year:
15mm Napoleonics Figures: Infantry 927 : Cavalry 132 : Artillery Guns with 3 or 4 figs 9 : Limbers 18 :
10mm Buildings 23
Lord of the Ring : Infantry 456 : Cavalry 88 : Monsters, etc 6
These include commissions
28mm : Infantry 64 (Gobbos & Cowboys)
Have a great new year all.
