If it isn't enjoyable, it isn't gaming!

Only taken 45 year, but my first ever "lead" army has started to be rebased. I matt varnished them, so they fit my current stuff.

1st generation Mini figs, having been in my parents loft when I discovered girls and I collected them when we cleared my mothers house 2 years ago. Not great by any means, just nostalgic. More will follow.

Light infantry, Jagers and some lone in skirmish

Nice job, I so wish that I had kept some of my very early stuff, even just a couple of units for nostalgia sake.

Got hold of some 15mm ChevauxLeger, quite nicely painted, although incorrectly. Quick re paint of the facings, bugler's plume, finished the flag, bit of a wash, touch up here and there and based. Five Regts 1st to 5th, all based for Shako II. Kuirassier unit lurking in there at the back too!

This weeks 15mm output. More Austrians (getting to the end of this project), 2 Line Regts (30th & 51st), a Landwehr unit (They are actually a line regt, but I will never use them as such), a Divisional Skirmish base, a broken Grenzer (now a casualty marker). Some repairs, repaints and rebasing, Prussian Dragoons & Heavy gun all were chipped and damaged(next project to finish are Prussians), Couple of officers (donated by Mike) had a little TLC and rebase. And Austrian Dragoons were repaired (broken horse and sword), and now have a standard. Some WIP just finishing, Vistula and another Austrian/ Hungarian Battalion.

51st

40 year old veteran minifigs, had a brown wash, a couple of additional figs to bring them up to strength

These were already pained, needed a bit of TLC on them, a lot had weak ankles. Landwehr.

The end of the Austrian lead mountain is in sight. Another batch completed, Battalion of Hungarian 34th, two Skirmish stands for the 12th Grenzer, three Sappers (actually Light Infantry but very similar uniform. Thought I had finished a Battalion of Vistula (need to sort a couple of errors). Rebased and gave flag to some already painted British Heavies, finished off some Brunwick Hussars and tarted up a couple of French Generals. All based for Shako II

A new year starts with Officer School of 1808 - 1809.

The Russian & Spanish (on the right), Mainly Fantassin were painted over the past couple of days. The Russian and Spanish horses were painted with oils in the Summer and I had forgotten about them. The figures were painted over a couple days this week.

The Austrians, (various makes) were all painted this week, some of the horses were painted with Contrast paints and some base coat and washes.

The Fantassin Spanish and Minifig Russians on the left were just rebased.

All 15mm, based for Shako II.
