Hello again all,
Here are the Finished Prime Movers & Gitungi vehicles

https://castrarunis.blogspot.com/2020/11/finished-prime-movers-gitungi-vehicles.html

You can see the starting point here
https://castrarunis.blogspot.com/2017/11/latest-scratchbuilds.html

and here

https://castrarunis.blogspot.com/2020/03/gitungi-by-micropanzer.html

I like painting gritty well used vehicles. Parade ground uniforms & vehicles are not my thing
unless they are specifically going to be used as such.
The bottom piece can be changed

Thanks for your comments.

Those are great! I see I will have to hit some of the junk stores for some old train stuff. I have always liked the idea of something an a smaller scale of "Mortal Engines". Your work has inspired a lot of great ideas rolling in my head!
Just remember "If the Enemy is in range, so are YOU!

Nice, is the centre cab a recycled Lima starter set locomotive?

Thanks,
Yes Uvs, Both of them are based on Lima train bodies. One steam , one diesel. Lovely , detailed models.

Yes you should WM, the top bodies are the most difficult to build so it makes sense to find suitable train parts.
I still have loads from my childhood ( some still new ) and the tracks are perfect for this scale, so it's another plus. You can find sets for 28mm also.

The bottom parts are simple wood, card, pvc , bottle cap wheels , hard disk flat cable tracks , wire etc.
It is possible to build bigger ones, like a land train , also.

If you need help , ask.

Thank you my friends for the praise, glad you like them.
As you can see one can easily ( granted with a bit of work and practise ) convert junk into something unique and very useable.

You're welcome Balm. please do share what you make.
If anyone needs help just ask.

Thanks Dan, the trick is to use a colour wheel , use opposing colours and try to think out of the box and
come up with what would look good on aliens.
