Warband for second edition: Enchanters!

So with a new edition I thought it was time for a new warband. And I got a cool Warhammer Underworlds warband recently and thought they would be great as a starting point for an Enchanter's warband. Painting was a lot of fun to do and with all the metallics, quite fast too.

Wizard: Thundrik Anvilsson


A big meaty dwarf covered with steampunk! That made choosing spells interesting. I went with: Animate Construct, Grenade, Enchant Armour, Scatter Shot, Bridge, Curse, Fool's Gold, Dispel. So a mix that fit with the Steampunk look and typical Dwarven traits.

Apprentice: Garodd


He follows Thundrik everywhere and hopes to learn the Steampunk arcana from his master!

Captain: Khazgan Drakkskewer


Such an epic model! Love the weird contraption on his back. I translated this to +1 Move and give him Mail Armour and a Two-Handed weapon.

Archer


The warband comes with two shooters. It made sense that the one with multiple barrels can fire more often before reloading and thus is the Archer for the game.

The whole group of steampunk dwarves together. Bling bling!

And the warband. I filled out the rest of the slot with 2 Thieves, 2 Thugs and a Warhound. Good for a starting warband I'd say.
Now let's hope the pandemic ends fast so we can actually play some games!

Those steampunk dwarves are my favourite from the age of sigmar range and you've done them brilliantly.

Great painting of some very distinctive figures (especially the floating chap). A formidable looking warband!

Thanks man! They're actually quite easy to paint with all that metal. And if you have the right colours you can make them pop a bit more. For me Scale75 White Alchemy adds that extra shiny finish to them that really helps.
