Using up my Frostgrave spare bits
« on: November 13, 2020, 11:09:18 AM »
Following on from a question I had on another board http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=127989.0.

Like most people who have put together the different plastic Frostgrave figure kits, I had lots of leftover bits left on the various sprues. Not wanting to throw them out, but not wanting to keep them either, I was in a quandary about what to do with them.

Fortunately, I discovered Anvil Industries, who sell just legs and torsos. So, I ordered two each of their respective male and female cultist sprues.

Once arrived, I spent a couple of nights attaching arms and heads to the torsos. As a result, I've gained twenty new figures with parts that would have still been languishing in a box.

Great idea. Must say that I’m a fan of the Anvil Industries bits and bobs myself

Hadn't heard of Anvil Industries before, and I'm likewise collecting a really random leftover mix of plastics from Warlord and Frostgrave stuff. Bookmarked for future reference!

Semi-related tip, Warlord 17th C stuff (their TYW/ECW plastics) mix very well with North Star's Frostgrave plastics, in case anyone else wants wizards in poofy feathered hats with apprentices wielding firelocks...
