BEF Uniform painting guide by Aircav

Hi Aircav,

I am currently Painting a late British army and thought your miniature's looked the business! I'm Following your painting guide which is working out really well, but I have question I hope you can help me with regarding the officers uniforms shown in Picture 2. Could you tell me which part of the uniform is painted 'Officers tan leather'?

The officers sam brown belt & boots are painted brown

Virtually every piece of officer gear would be in brown leather: Sam Browne belt, boots, leather gaiters, binoculars case, holster, ammo pouch, compass pouch...etc

Was the greatcoat the same colour as the uniform? It seems a bit darker to me but I can't seem to find anything official.
