Greetings, all!
Here's a few of my recent
Star Wars Legion commission work. Almost entirely airbrushed with Tamiya / Gunze Sangyo acrylics, and detailed with Vallejo and Reaper acrylics.
A bit of griming with various Tamiya Weathering Master sets adds the appropriate 'kicked-down-the-street' look that distinguishes something as coming out of the
'Wars universe.
They're quite nice models, by and large; Nicely detailed and sturdy, although I am finding the 'bendy' nature of the figures and smaller parts to be a pain at times. No wonder Stormtroopers can't shoot straight — it's those wonky blaster barrels!!
Hope you enjoyed this little showcase. I've got some Imperial Scouts on speeder bikes to do next. Should keep me busy while we're under 6 days of hard lock-down here in South Australia.
Be safe, everyone.
UPDATE!:
A little more progress in the arming of a Galaxy Far, Far Away. (TM)
Here's a squad of four Imperial Scouts on their Speeder Bike mounts, racing amongst giant trees and risking their third party insurance.
I really enjoyed painting these, brought back happy memories of a wee Martin watching
Jedi in the cinema at its first release.
And who can't help but admire the courage of this biker, firing back from the saddle whilst screaming into a 400ft Redwood at 100kph?
Actually, although these were nice to paint, I confess the ground cover was my favourite part. If only there were some Ewoks to add as roadkill...
More to come soon!
