Newline are always great value. I have DBA armies of Nubian and Sumerian. Their horses look a bit weird but I reckon they represent the older proto horses 😀

Just wondering why our Eureka range is considered 'limited'?
We are willing to add to it if we know what is missing.

A few years ago me and a gaming buddy were on a Mychenean spree. You can see our efforts in this thread https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=86533.195

There is a mix of manufacturers. Mostly Foundry but also Black tree, Warlord(cutting edge) Old Glory and Redoubt. Steer clear of the redoubt Murmidons. They are awfull! In fact the quality of the redoubt minis is a bit hit or miss. As is their delivery times and customer service. Black tree are nice but again if you ever get them..
The Warlord(cutting edge) are somewhat on the small side, they are more 25mm than 28mm.

Nic EUREKA MINIATURES

Hi Nic,

My Eureka stuff hasn't arrived yet (ordered recently from Eureka UK) but it looks fantastic. The only obvious thing missing to my mind would be unit command figures - standards etc, potentially musicians if you think they uesd them (they have become a bit of a wargaming convention regardless).

Obviously the new range is very much focused on the later part of the LBA, so I understand why it lacks pikemen with tower shields. However, I know Eureka also has a range of those titled 'Mycenaeans' rather than Bronze Age Greeks. How compatible are the two ranges?

Cheers,

Nic

Dear Nic,
Thank you for your reply. We will give musicians and standards some serious thought.
The Mycenians seem to fit fine for height and heft with the BAG ranges

I wonder if anyone is planning a plastic range in the future?

It looks like a gap in the market for more fresh stuff.
Eureka seem to be the newest casts?

Wargames Atlantic may have some in the pipeline, apparently...
