Gaslands is a gloriously dangerous game, so when I saw that Gaslands Reloaded included rules for jump ramps and jumping to make the game even more dangerous and absurd, naturally I had to build a pair of ramps!
Not, of course, that we're going to get to use them anytime soon, because we're back into 2nd wave COVID lockdown here (thanks, rat-licking anti-mask morons) and not socializing outside our immediate households.
Anyway, I'm still rather pleased with the ramps and sometime in the future they should be great fun on the table!
The big I-beams have been in my bits bin for years... possibly decades, as they might well date back all the way to the model railroad we had at home when I was in junior high in the early 1990s. That's more than long enough to carry bits around waiting for the "right project", I think!
The rest is just various types of plastic card from Evergreen or Plastruct, then various paints slathered over it in a nice rough post-apoc colour scheme.
The white and orange crash barrier thing started as a way to use up the last stub of I-beams after I built the two ramps and just kind of evolved from there. It's a nice pop of colour and line of sight blocker, basically. Or, given how Gaslands usually goes, one more thing for us to crash our cars into by accident!
Couple more photos and some verbiage over on the good ol' blog:
