Looking forward to the new paint jobs  :)
I’ve got a Forgeworld Dreadnaught the Raven Guard one (which strangely has Space Shark motifs),I should build it,sort of an old and new thing with yours  :)

I look forward to seeing it*.
 :)

*whilst also cursing you for mentioning it as I am now considering one myself...

The first 'vehicle' for the Sharks, is a Dreadnought from Troll Soup Miniatures.

A few green stuff elements have been added to try and make it more 'sharky', hopefully it will not look too comedic once painted...

Influenced by the original RT Dread but much bigger in scale, it towers over the Void Brothers of the Company.

Now in to the 'arms', but this section can get paint thrown at it while they are being done...

Well, the face got a little re-working after some constructive criticism.....

I think it looks better now he has had his dental work altered.

Very nice indeed :-*

That dread reminds me of the great white "Bruce" from Finding Nemo, in a good way though lol

Keep up the good work

I liked the old face, but the new one does look a tad meaner! Very good sculpting!

Really enjoying the thread! I want to do something similar with the Mantis Warriors, just trying to find the time to do it...

Looking great! I liked the old face, but the new one definitely looks more aggressive!

Thanks, chaps.

Funny you should say that as, no matter which pictures of sharks that I looked at for inspiration, I kept coming back to Bruce so you could say he influenced me the most.

Cheers!
There was something about the first version that did not sit right with me until a fewpeople in 'other places' pointed out the original teeth as the problem.
I am happy with his new nashers and just hope they look OK once paint is thrown at it.

Do it!
Just start small and it will grow, over time, from there.
I was originally only going for a squad or so and now am pushing for a full (but understrength) company......
 lol

The next six Marines which fill out the first four (understrength) Squads.....

The two on the left complete my second Tactical Squad, whilst the others complete my two Assault Squads.

Three of them have been converted in some way, as I want each Void Brother to be an individual, and the others are straight 'off the peg' castings.

So far that makes four Squads done, 2 Tactical and 2 Assault, along with three characters.
This means that I have already painted more than I originally intended for this 'little' project.
How these things grow....
 ;)

Looking really good Mason! You'll have to gather them all together for a family shot on some scenic elements. ;)
