Thanks, chaps.
Much appreciated.
 :)

Interesting.  The texture detailing (scales?) on it remind me slightly of the more biological look of the Chaos dread from the 2nd ed era.  Not a bad thing, that was a much better sculpt than the original loyalist dreads were.

Cheers!
I was aiming for a kind of 'coral' look to the detailing.
Dunno if that worked, but I like it anyway.
 ;)

Perhaps a battle brother in shot, for scale :)

I will sort out a shot with a few painted fellas later, but here is a pic that gives an idea of scale...

G`day Brother Dave lol

Oh, yes!
The RT one that I have been restoring will be transferred to the Imperial Army detachment that I seem to have acquired lately.
He will have to or he will end up with an inferiority complex if he stands next to the pair of these that I have!
 ;)

Excellent paul you’ve done an amazing job!

Cheers, mate.

What are the weapons?

Cheers, Colin.
I assume you are referring to the Dread?
If so, right arm is a standard Power Fist and left is a Seismic Hammer (which I believe comes from the Ironclad kit, but I picked up on ebay) with an underslung Melta Gun.
I will probably add something else to the Fist at some point when I find something that I like the look of.

That is what I was hoping for, trying to keep that Old Skool feel.
Good to hear that someone thinks it worked!
 :D

In regards to progress: The first of the Devastator Squads are done apart from their weapons.
Once the shooters are painted and fixed in place I shall post a picture to prove it!
