Lovely work. So much conversion and painting in such a short space of time. Most impressive!

Thanks, chaps.
Much appreciated!

Cheers, mate.
They were painted pretty quickly, mostly drybrushing and washes but I am happy with the overall look of them. If I want to finish the Company and paint over a hundred figures before getting fed up with them then a few corners need cutting...
They are also a pain to photograph, being so dark, but here are a couple of closer shots that reveal all the flaws!
 ;)

Company shot so far....

So, that is all ten 'standard' Squads, the Scouts, Terminators, a few characters and a Dreadnought.
98 Void Brothers and a Dread done!
All but five finished since March, so happy with the progress.

Note: There are two WIP figures, a Librarian and a Techmarine, who seem to have snuck into the shot too. They will, hopefully get finished off this week....

Holy cow! You've really been plowing through them, haven't you?  8)

This is such a cool project; the coherency of the entire force is just great. I guess it'll be vehicle time soon...  :D
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Cheers, mate, although they aint done yet!
Saying that, I have not touched anything with any intent for over a week now.
Better do something soon before I lose the mojo!

A month later.......

Well, I finally found the time and mojo to get back to it.
The other members of the Command Squad are in progress but I also could not resist making a start on the second Dread too.
 ;)

Here it is so far, with most of the 'head' done....

Great sculpting work! 8)

The teeth are from some sort of shark jewelry I assume?

The First thing that came to my mind though, was the Netflix series H2O: Mermaids. My little girl used to watch that cartoon end to end and over again, some years ago. And it has this hammerhead shark bad guy character called Burke:

Sorry; just goes to show what my frame of reference has become... lol

Great to see you're soldiering on with these guys. I've just started the first squad of my own Mentor Legion project, but I don't know if that'll ever be as prodigious as your Space Sharks!

Not finished yet but nearly there.

Correct!
A ring that I found trawling ebay.
I may have to keep one of those 'gold' teeth, it seems...
 ;)

 lol lol

Cheers. Nearly there now (although there will still be 22 'spaces' to fill as and when I get hold of the figures to make it a full strength Company!).
Just a few more members of the Command Squad and the Techmarines to do.
Oh, and then there is the subject of the vehicles....

I am looking forward to seeing those.
I have a Squad of 3rd Party Terminators to do and they will probably be Mentor Legion, if I ever get time to do them that is!

100 Up!
(If you count the first Dread, and I am...)

A couple of new recruits for the Space Sharks Command Squad in the form of a Senior Librarian and what will either be the Captain or Company Champion, dependant on whether or not I ever get around to sculpting a Captain...

It has been ages since I added anything to the Sharks as my mojo upped and left a few weeks ago, so I forced myself to finish off a couple of figures that had been started but not finished.
I am going to go back and make a better job of the markings on the Captain/Champion's legs as they look awful now I see them in this picture. At least I managed to point a brush at something, anyway...
Not sure about the blue hooded robe either yet. Blue is the Company colour but I think that there may be too much of it on this fella.
Time will tell.

And with the rest of the Command Squad so far...

Making a start with the brush on the second Dread now.
