Ravenfeast
« on: December 08, 2020, 04:57:46 PM »
Hi everyone,

I thought I'd give you a heads up on a free set of rules for the Viking period produced to a professional standard. The game is by Little Wars TV.

I've played them and in my professional opinion these are good fun. Ravenfeast is intended to get new players into wargaming.

The website is:

www.Ravenfeast.com

Enjoy!

Guy

Thanks for sharing! The production quality looks very nice indeed, I look forward to giving them a read through and also the upcoming fantasy/mythological stuff.

Wot a coincidence! I've just spent all afternoon printing the rules out and laminating the quick reference sheet. Tomorrow's 'Wōden's Day' and I'll be putting Ravenfeast into action!

I really enjoyed the video, they look a lot of fun. Needing to roll low is likely to mess with my simple brain though!

A very nice production to give away for free. Bravo Little Wars.

Can you go into some details as to why you didn't like them? They look to be fairly decent easy-to-play skirmish rules to me.

Ravenfeast is intended to get new players into wargaming.

Getting new players into wargaming is always a good thing, the rules seem well aimed and explained for this and the presentations are nice and well done.

And a 1 to 5 fighting ability on 1D6 is something I'm already familiar with, it works. :D

This should certainly attract new gamers, I wish good luck.
