New commission almost finished - T-29 heavy tank (It didn't quite make WW2 but it's close...)

Dang, that thing is hug. What scale is it?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Its certainly something that the what if crowd enjoy. The T-29 turns up in that sort of fiction here and there. I suppose personally it would be more interesting for an Operation Unthinkable scenario, or perhaps for Operation Downfall (though there's hardly any alt-history Japanese tanks out there).

Still, some company must see cash in doing one. Even if its use cases are limited. More German and Soviet vehicles would certainly have a guaranteed market (even if its a niche one). And I'd have to wonder why more companies aren't commissioning Soviet vehicles which may have missed WWII, but seen plenty of use Post-War. That sort of thing would play into the gathering interest in Vietnam and possibly the Arab-Israeli wars.

Ah, but my usual marketing criticism aside (best to keep that to the Weird War board), you've obviously put good work into this.  :)

A thing of (robust) beauty indeed :-* Is it a private commision or are we likely to see a commercial release via JTFM or other manufacturer?

Private at the moment at least I'm afraid!

Very nice.

The photograph with the FT reminds me of those camper vans with a small car attached.

That’s huge!  (insert your own joke...)

It does show just how tall the Sherman is though!

The Israelis did try producing a low rider Sherman. Making it look a bit more "modern".

I prefer the T20/T23 with the sprockets at the back.

Though perhaps with the M4A3E8 HVSS as above.
