There are more pics (as well as some process/decision talk) here:

http://curiousoldlibrary.blogspot.com/2009/10/cthulhu.html

I tried to do a link-within-a-picture to higher res versions on this board, and couldn't figure out how to given the html restrictions, so I figured the link was the best way.  There are seven pics in all, I think.

The mini beside it is 1:72/20mm, which I the scale I usually build to.

I have almost no process pics - sorry!  But I do have this one.  I used aluminum wire, twisted, to make the armature - two loops across each other making a big round x for the body, and the arms coming off to the side.  The basic shape is aluminum foil, and most of the rest is Super Sculpey.  Teeth are wood, eyes are wood and epoxy.

Another one to add to the ' the sculpter should have cast it up and sold a few' pile. :(

Shame, vey nice which is why it's a shame

That thing is epic in proportion! (especially once seen next to a "normal" mini)
Love it  :o :-* o_o

It's not laziness, or stubborness, my lack of casting; it's that I have no idea how to do it.  I hope to teach myself sometime in the not-too-distant future.
Check out THE CROGAN ADVENTURES, a historical adventure graphic novel series available from your local bookstore or comic shop (or, of course, Amazon).  I make 'em.

Erm never said it was my friend.... so no need to defend yourself ???

(You should be proud that people want what you sculpted!)

Worth speaking with a few people like say Geronimo for some hints and tips.

Good luck

:oThat is amazing and I love it.  :-*

They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

Fantastic!  I love your take on him!  Great work!

Be sure to let us know if you ever have him cast in resin, I'm sure you'd be able to sell at least a few of them.
