A reminder on the Bazaar rules

(1/1)

Westfalia Chris:
Hi all,

since there have been repeated incidents over the last few weeks and I am frankly sick and tired of cleaning up because people either don't read the rules or choose to flaunt them, a reminder on how the Bazaar is supposed to work.

Each member may have a single thread in each section of the Bazaar at a given time. If you have more stuff you would like to list, add a reply to your thread and edit the original post's topic title.

If you wish to open a new thread (to keep things orderly and clean), please modify the existing thread's title to read "PLEASE REMOVE" or something similarly clear.

Kindly remember to add the respective tag [SALE], [WANTED] or [EBAY], depending on the board in question. If you are willing to accept goods in trade, modify as [SALE/TRADE] or [WANTED/TRADE]. That way, Bazaar topics become visible in the Latest Replies search function.

Also, be advised that at the start of each month (usually the first Saturday), the Bazaar boards are pruned of topics which were last replied to more than a month ago (i.e., on the first weekend of January, all topics with a last reply date of 30 November or earlier will be removed from the Bazaar boards and archived. Archived threads are then usually  removed permanently once per quarter.

The Bazaar is free to all members (albeit at their own risk), but for it to work and keep it in some semblance of order, all we ask is that people follow the rules. If folks continue to ignore these basic requests, we reserve the right to remove offending topics and, for repeat offenders, to (temporarily or permanently) revoke their Bazaar posting rights.
