Fantastic work, a joy to look at.
I think you've pulled this subject off very well.

Going up a couple of posts, the dirt/weathering on the lower section of the shields is brilliant!
Exodus 1:10 KJV
Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.

Thank you everyone I really appreciate the support so I hope you enjoy the new additions! Every Roman commander needs something to protect his Legionaries flanks and to scout out ahead for ambushes so I present some Auxiliary infantry who excel at doing just that.

Thanks for viewing!

Lovely Christopher  :-* :-* :-*

The excellent paintjobs are really set off by the shield bronze rims and bosses- an idea that I think my Byzantines might benefit from  8)

Very nice! I love how well the bases blend in with the sabot trays!  :o

Terrific stuff! I really like the red cuffs - adds an extra layer of interest to the tunics.

Lovely work on the wood texture on the rear of the shield too.

Those are stunning

My Romans need a commander so I present Centurion Maximus Ivicus in his unlikely purple cloak and supporting leaders, Musician, Standard Bearer, Medic, and Deployment/Ambush markers.

The whole command and staff.

Centurion Maximus, Musician, Standard

Auxiliary leaders

Maximus's Optio, Medic

Deployment Markers consisting of a Roman scout and German guide

Very, very nice work.

May I ask who makes the cloaked medicus?  He looks great and would fit in a number of different roles.
