What’s your secret recipe for quick painting napoleonic uniforms?

I paint all the base colours in Humbrol Matt Enamels then do a Citadel  3 parts Null Oil , one part Agrax Earthshade , and a dash of water and brush the  whole figure with this and then highlight

That still means you have a very fast and steady brush. Good job!

What product code did you use for the ADC’s?

Hi they are Calpe PC7 , the Calpe web site isn`t great is it , split into the latest parts of the ranges in one website with a link to see the rest through the `Old Calpe`web site.

To do all my ordering i first went to a different site (think its Russian)and all the Prussians are laid out in pictures with the codes attached next to the block order listings and description of the casts and units.I couldnt have made my selections without it:

Hope that helps
Cheers AL

Thanks Alcal, I too am painting Nappy’s for GdA.  I am going a little smaller, 24 Infantry or 12 Cavalry.  Just last; week I finished 10 French ADC’s and was looking at what to do for my Prussian ADC’s.  I was wondering what PC7 consisted of.  For some reason I had in my mind the horses were in a pose similar to H116 and I didn’t want 8-10 of the same “jumping a fence” pose.

Thanks for all the pictures, really inspiring.  Have you thought about doing a battle report?
