Serious Play Scenics
« on: January 19, 2021, 03:26:03 PM »
Does anyone know how to contact this company? Are they still operating?

I have had an order with them since the 3rd November 2020 and they do not reply to emails. I have tried going through Paypal but the phone numbered registered with them is not is service.

Their customer Service is appalling and I am hoping Paypal will get me a refund if I cannot contact them myself.

PayPal should take care of you - simply document everything by date, etc.  Also, I believe it has to be a protected purchase (not sure what generates that).

I agree. I had to file a complaint with Paypal for an unfulfilled order and it was a simple procedure so I would recommend it; there is a time limit though so keep an eye on that.

Protected purchase is one made by using the "goods or services" not the "Friends/Family or Money Owed" options (ie a payment not a funds transfer) and where the delivery address given to the seller is the same as the buyers address registered on PayPal.

Thanks for all the Paypal advice. The supplier made contact within hours of receiving my latest email mentioning raising a Paypal dispute and they have promised delivery.

I am not holding my breath, but fingers crossed.......

In the meantime, anyone considering using them just be aware that if you have a problem, contacting them is a nightmare.

They do have great products though - excellent range of tufts and static grass. Its a shame about their customer service.

Yep, 'verified' purchases, etc.  It's why you should never do business with someone you don't know - particularly when they ask for "gift" payment via PayPal, etc.  Any commercial use of PayPal should be protected.
