Had reply from Michael Perry who has given thought to the making of a General Service Wagon. He hopes to have one made at some point. How long that will be is anyone’s guess !!
Yes Mike, I receive a reply from Michael saying he is tied up with the Franco-Prussian range for the time being. The GS wagon an in addition Michael may consider the larger colonial wagon.

I consider this good news and worth the wait as I model the Natal Volunteers from various miniatures available from the range. Here is a wip of my Buffalo Border Guard vignette. He is escaping along fugitive trail. A plastic Zulu will be added being shot.

Cheers,
Helen

Thank you Mike, I will indeed. I must apoligise for hijacking the thread with a photo and will post in a new topic when completed.

I was thinking that with some heads swaps the Perry Miniatures Sudan Range Army Hospital Corps will suffice alongside the other miniatures in the Zulu range.

That is most welcome news =), think I might hold off getting any more wagons except maybe the 4ground one.

No need to apologise, more pictures are most welcome! Your Buffalo Border guard is excellent, cannot wait to see him finished. Who makes that figure i cannot place it.

Good idea about the Sudan range, can probably do the same with the plastic Perry infantry sets but it is a bit of a faff to get the pouches off

Thanks. He is from the Perry Miniatures Frontier Light Horse Command VLW 45 waving his hat. Pistol hand from the plastic Perry British Zulu box plus a cut down pistol holster, and green putty for the bottom part of the holster. Perry miniatures Natal Carbineer head with green putty for the badge after scrapping off the pervious badge.

Yes, I do like the ambulance set from the Sudan range. Will use parts of it to form a number of vignettes for Isandlwana.

Did you see this book? I ordered mine from the Book Depository in paperback.

I would never have guessed that horseman was converted he looks so good, very very nice conversion and such an iconic pose too.

Thanks once again. Yes, I ordered the Perry set yesterday alongside the remaining codes needed to make-up my other Natal Volunteers.

I'll start a new topic on my collection that I've been working on these past two years plus my friend whom has been assisting me as well.

Cheers,
Helen

That's a lovely figure Helen, can't wait to see the finished set up.

Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
